Fondly known as the "Wedding Capital of Texas", Dripping Springs is certainly a beautiful place to get married, but this charming Texan town has plenty of other things to offer as well. The nearby Hamilton Pool Preserve is the perfect place to cool off during the hot summer months, and hundreds of areas of former ranch land have been converted into public parks laced with hiking and equestrian trails. The area's many craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries are another big draw, and if you've worked up an appetite, many of them serve delicious food as well. Certain attractions may be temporarily closed or require advance reservations. Some restaurants are currently offering pickup only. Hours/availability may have changed.

Encompassing almost 65 acres of former ranch land, Charro Ranch Park was donated to the city in 2008, and it's a great place to bird watch or go for a relaxing stroll. The former owner created a number of walking and cycling trails for visitors to enjoy, including two stone paths designed for meditation, and there's even a special section of the park dedicated to cross country training and track running. Educational displays dotted throughout the park introduce visitors to the flora and fauna found here, and there are also plenty of beautiful picnic areas.
